📖 the story…

• alejandro and estevan are 2 of 4 gutierrez brothers, raised by an ecuadorian mother and swiss father

  • estevan plays electric guitar, and alejandro plays electric and lap steel guitar

• with an age difference of 8 years, these brothers learned separately but then began collaborating in 2015

• the early collabs culminated into their first full album ‘8 anos’, which led to two more album releases and a growing following

• after 3 independent album releases, dan auerbach of the black keys, saw the duo play live and became obsessed

  • auerbach signed them ✍️ to his label ‘easy eye sound’

  • the brothers then released the album ‘el bueno y el malo’ - inspired by the western score from ‘the good, the bad, and the ugly’ 🤠

• they’ve now grown a massive following for their blended latin and western sound, as well as their hypnotizing live performances
